Dunkin’ Donuts K-Cup Tasting Notes
William Rosenberg began selling donuts. What he realized: Everyone dunks them in their coffee. What about donut-flavored coffee?
Dunkin’ Donuts has been roasting for 70 years now.
The Original Blend is Dunkin’ Donuts’ house blend. It’s a smooth, rich medium roast perfect for any time of day.
They also offer a variety of other roasts:
- Dunkin’ Dark: A dark roast with bolder, richer flavors. Still keeps Dunkin’ Donuts’ signature smoothness.
- French Vanilla: Artificially flavored medium roast. Sweet flavor and an aroma of creamy vanilla.
- Caramel Coffee Cake: Part of their Bakery Series, this medium roast is buttery with hints of cinnamon and vanilla.
Dunkin’ Donuts also has a pair of seasonal K-Cups:
- Pumpkin Spice: Medium roast with flavors of pumpkin, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
- Cinnamon Nutmeg: Flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar fill.
For something a little different, try Dunkin’ Donuts’ Hot Cocoa K-Cup. With natural and artificial flavors of sweet chocolate, you’re sure to find the indulgence you seek.
The Dunkin’ Decaf is a medium roast giving you the same rich coffee taste that won’t keep you up at night.
Dunkin’ Donuts K-Cup Caffeine Content
Medium roasts typically have more caffeine than dark roasts, so the Dunkin’ Dark has the least amount of caffeine at around 75 mg per cup. Dunkin’ Donuts also offers a non-caffeinated alternative with their Dunkin’ Decaf.
