Marley Coffee K-Cup Tasting Notes
Marley Coffee follows Bob Marley’s devotion to nature and humanity. This brewer focuses on togetherness and respects the world around us. They strive to embody four values above all others:
- Unity
- Family
- Love
- Sustainability
Marley Coffee K-Cups come in five different types:
- Get Up, Stand Up: Light, bright, and nutty roast. Vibrant with hints of caramel.
- One Love: Laid-back, balanced, and smooth medium roast. Subtle berry tones. Single-origin Ethiopian coffee.
- Lively Up: Dark roast. Bold flavors combining chocolate and citrus.
- Buffalo Soldier: Medium/dark roast. Rich and full-bodied, dark chocolate, roasty flavor.
- Simmer Down: Decaffeinated medium roast. Balanced for a chilled mood, day or night. Notes of cocoa.
Marley Coffee has a K-Cup for any time of day. Their light roast—Get Up, Stand Up—has bright flavors more acidity, and more caffeine.
Their medium roasts combine the coffee beans’ natural, subtle flavors with deeper, caramelized sugar notes with brightness complemented by a fuller body.
Their dark roast—Lively Up—has lost those subtle, natural flavors but replaces them with big, bold flavors that’ll knock your socks off.
Their decaf option—Simmer Down—is perfect for a mellow morning or easy-going evening.
Marley K-Cup freshness is only so-so, which is an issue with almost all K-Cups. To really enjoy a fresh cup, consider brewing a Marley Coffee K-Cup clone using fresh coffee and the DeliBru Reusable K-Cup.
Not only will your coffee taste better (seriously, it’s a night-and-day difference) but you’ll save 50% on every serving.
Marley Coffee K-Cup Caffeine Content
Marley K-Cups vary in caffeine content but range from about 75-120 mg per serving, plus their decaf option. In general, light roasts have higher caffeine content than dark roasts, so Marley Coffee’s Get Up, Stand Up is likely to be their most caffeinated option (though they don’t say exactly how much caffeine is in their K-Cups).
